he Senate President, Godswill Akpabio has assured Nigerians that the Senate under his leadership will work for Nigeria and Nigerians.
Nigeria's Senate President Godswill Akpabio gave the assurance at a thanksgiving service held weekend in his Senatorial District to appreciate God for His infinite mercy and love over him and family.
Sen. Akpabio said, "let me thank our dear President, Bola Tinubu, GCFR, the leadership of our great party; APC and my colleagues in the Senate for finding me worthy of this national honour. I personally thank the governor of my state, Pastor Umoh Eno and members of his cabinet for coming personally to receive me at the airport. This is indeed a new Akwa Ibom we should encourage.
The lawmaker thanked the people of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District for sending him to the Senate which has given birth to his emergence as the President of the 10th Senate.
"I love you all and I will never take this love for granted, thank you and God bless you all." the Senate President added.
