SPORTS: Manchester United's Patrick Dorgu Officially Changes Name to Reflect Nigerian Heritage
Denmark and Manchester United left back Patrick Dorgu has officially changed his name adding “Chinazaekpere” to his name.
January signing Dorgu is now officially listed as Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu which will be changed on the United website, team sheets, and the squad list in the United Review programme.
Manchester United have confirmed that Dorgu's family requested the change out of respect for the Dane's heritage and religion.
20 years old Dorgu was born in Copenhagen, Denmark to Nigerian parents.
