Southern British High Sch Prides Self As Top Notch Learning Institution, Calls for Patronage

Executive Chairman Southern British High School, Calabar, Akin Fakorede has described the institution as top notch in learning for the future leader.
The Chairman of the Institution,Akin Fakorede who boasted during an interactive session with Journalists acknowledged the Institution as one of the best to offer qualitative education and give an excellent and holistic molding of the children in academics, morals ,ethical standards and extra cuticular activities amongst others.
Fakorede noted that the school's efforts in engaging qualified, and trusted hands as staff is intended to deliver the best for the children to give them a world class education.
The Chairman who called for more patronage said that the comfort and safety of the students is of essence and this according to him is duly reflected in the admission strategy and policy of the Institution.
The Chairman assured parents that they would get more than they actually paid for in the quality of education their wards received from the School.
Fakorede ascribed the failure of education in the country to poor supervision of children and staff and regretted that this has brought about gaps in the sector.
While taking the journalists on a tour of facilities in the school,the Chairman disclosed that the southern British High School is established to meet the needs of the modern day standard in education.
Located in a serene area of the peaceful and beautiful city of Calabar, the Chairman observed that " the college is equipped with state of the art educational and recreational facilities, to ensure your child's excellence in academics and unique access to global opportunities under the care of very experienced and qualified teachers and administrators.
The School, currently in its second year has a population of 30, all boarders with a students admission spread across the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
He stated that the school has a curriculum covering variety of courses aimed at giving the children a modern and complete education, build a solid foundation for professionalism and a secured future.
On security, the Chairman said the school is safe for everyone and has an added advantage in the great relationship it enjoys with the security agencies with a large police presence and many security cameras to beef up surveillance.
Speaking on the affordability of the school, the Chairman stated that the school has one of the lowest fees for educational institutions of that level and standard and said that the decision is borne of love and the desire to give back to Cross River State.
Conducting Journalists around major facilities viz , Male and female hostels, Laboratory, ICT lab, cafeteria kitchen and auditorium among others ,the Chairman said the school's auditorium with an added incentive of constant power supply was up for hiring by the public for events at a modest cost and called for patronage.
