PHCN Blames Wind Storm for Calabar Power Outage ...  Says Power Will be Restored Soon

The Power Holding Company of Nigeria PHCN has attributed the  current power outage  experienced in some parts of Calabar to last  Saturday's evening wind storm.

An official statement released by the management of PHCN, reveals that the storm broke down a number of poles and cables on its network.

The statement list feeders affected by the wind storm to include OLAM, Bao Yao iron and steel, Federal Housing, EPZ Complex, MCC, Niger mills, 8 miles, UNICAL, Amika, Essien Town, Transcorp, EPZ 1, Diamond and Leopard .

The management however assured customers that the PHCN is giving the situation utmost priority as it is working assiduously to ensure power is restored to the affected areas while regretting any inconvenience this might have caused.
