Over 1,000 Vehicles, Trapped At Calabar-Itu Federal Highway, Travellers Send SOS To Umahi

There has been a total lockdown on Calabar-Itu Federal Highway since Friday, September 13, 2024. 

Over 1, 000 trucks and cars are trapped in one of the worst traffic gridlock between Itu Bridge and Power Plant Axis of the Highway. 

Motorists are passing through hell. Some have stayed two days inside mud with only cucumber and ground nuts as food. No water to drink.

 Those villagers hawking beverages have all exhausted their stock and cannot replenish them because no road to move out.

 Travelers are sending Save-Our-Soul Messages to state and federal agencies, especially to Minister Umahi, to come to their rescue.
