NAF Bombs Militants/Kidnappers Camps In Bakassi

Not less than 3 militant camps have been bombed by military airstrikes in Cross River State.

The Nigerian Air Force Director Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabket, who stated this in a release made available to the press in Abuja, said the air component of the 'Operation Delta Safe' invaded the militant camps after confirmation that the camps were littered with criminals carrying out their nefarious activities.

He said after the strike was authorised, led to serious mayhem in the camps some victims were seen scampering for their lives.

"We were able to apprehend some of the militants who attempted escaped through various escape routes. In one of the camps, a house with armed security suspected to be meant to harbor kidnapped victims was raided and victims released," he added.

The militant/pirate camps raided were identified as Amos Camp in Calabar South, David Camp, Big Joe Camp, and Sunny’s Camp in Bakassi local government area of the state.
