Jude Ngaji's Appeal Against Offiono For Hearing on October 25 in Lagos

The Court of Appeal Lagos has fixed Wednesday, October 25, 2023 for hearing in a case filed by Hon. Jude Ngaji against Godwin Offiono, member representing Ogoja/Yala in the Federal House of Representatives.
Recall that Hon Jude Ngaji (APC) had earlier challenged the election of Hon Godwin Offiono (PDP)representing Ogoja/Yala at the election petition tribunal sitting in Calabar, which was struck out for lack of merits.
The NASS Tribunal upheld the election of Godwin Offiono as the winner of the Saturday, February 25, 2023 election.
However, not satisfied with the judgement, Hon. Ngaji filed an appeal against Offiono and others at the Court of Appeal, in the Calabar Division, Cross River State in Appeal No. CA/C/EPT/HR/CR/19/2023.
The panel is said to be listed for hearing before the Lagos State Division of the Court of Appeals on Wednesday October 25th, 2023.
A support group "Team Goffio" has called on constituents, lovers of democracy as well as those who wishes for good representation to remain calm and continue in prayer for Hon Offiono and his legal team.
The support group believes that they would pull through as the legal team will deliver and secure the mandate freely given by the good people of Ogoja/Yala at the polls.
