Humanitarian Foundation Empowers Amputee With Electronic Wheelchair At UCTH

The Rachel Owan Enoh Empowerment and Care Foundation (ROEECF) has empowered Miss Happiness Amos with a wheel chair.
Happiness, who is currently residing at 8 Miles, Calabar, Cross River state,
Miss Amos experienced underwent surgery on her two legs in 2021 which resulted in double amputation of both legs at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital ,(,UCTH) Calabar, leaving her with no means to walk around or survive.
She wad stranded at the hospital enduring unimaginable hardship.
Presenting the wheel chair, the Founder and President, ROEECF, Mrs. Rachel Owan Enoh, said the foundation was established to bring succour to the vulnerable as well as put smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society by restoring hope through her foundation.
Mrs Enoh, who is the wife of the Hon. Minister of State for Industry, explained that the donation of an electric wheelchair to Miss Amos is to enable her to regain mobility and dignity in her daily life.
