Governor Umo Eno Tasks Local Government Chairmen to Deliver Impactful Projects

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has charged local government chairmen to initiate life-changing projects and programs that will justify the trust placed in them by the electorate.
This directive was given while inaugurating the remodelled Etim Ekpo Local government secretariat, where the governor commended the local government chairman, Gedion Uwa, for his remarkable performance within just 100 days in office.
The governor, represented by the speaker of Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Elder Udeme Otong, emphasized the importance of local government chairmen delivering projects that will positively impact the lives of residents. This, he said, is part of Governor Eno's broader vision to ensure that local governments play a key role in driving development and growth in Akwa Ibom State.
In his address, the Local Government Chairman, Mr. Gedion Uwa, explained that the remodelled secretariat was undertaken to transform the face of the council secretariat.
Political stakeholders from the area attended the inauguration ceremony, offering goodwill messages and expressing support for the chairman's efforts.
