Government Officials, Military Formations, Traditional Rulers Benefit From NDDC Yuletide Largesse

In the spirit of Yuletide, the Niger Delta Development Commission has distributed palliatives to Government Officials, Military heads and Traditional rulers in the state.

Speaking while distributing the items, the NDDC state representative Rt. Hon. Orok Duke said the palliatives were to help cushion the effect of the ongoing global economic downturn in-line with the presidents renewed hope Agenda.

He said the NDDC as an interventionist agency is concerned about the welfare of the citizenry hence the reason for the palliatives.

Duke used the opportunity to commend the military and paramilitary formations in the state for their efforts in keeping the state crime free.

The palliatives include bags of 50kg bag of rice and cartons of 4 liter vegetable oil.
