FG To Share 44,400 Bags Of Rice Among The 36 States And FCT

The Federal Government has announced that it has made available 44,400 bags of rice to be distributed to all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. 

Addressing newsmen after the federal executive council (FEC) meeting on Monday, the Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris emphasized that the rice is intended for the most vulnerable in Nigeria.

The Information Minister revealed that every state has been allocated its shipment of rice with each shipment consisting of 20 trucks with a total of 1,200 bags of 25kg rice for each state including the FCT. 

This according to him underscores the dedication of the Tinubu led administration to ensuring that all Nigerians have access to food.
