Ebonyi: Help Restore Peace in Effium Communities, Emegha Charges Ex-Lawmaker

The chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi state, Hon. Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has charged the former Deputy Whip of the state House of Assembly, Barr. Frank Nwaka Onwe to as a matter of necessity support the peace building efforts of the Governor, Rt. Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in his community, Effium which has been in war with Ezza Effium over land dispute for years now in Ohaukwu council area.
Chief Emegha who spoke during the defection of Onwe from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling party, APC noted that the state government alone cannot fully restore absolute peace and tranquility without the willingness and contributions of major stakeholders and the generality of the indigenous people of the area.
The APC helmsman, Emegha thanked Onwe and his loyalists for taking the bold step and stressed the need for all to rally round Governor Nwifuru's human oriented administration for more dividends of democracy.
He reiterated resolve of the state government to accommodate every interest that can help to propel the socioeconomic wellbeing of Ebonyi people without any infraction.
Chief Emegha regurgitated his resolve to ensure that he brings every one into the APC fold for mutual benefits.
Speaking, the ex-Lawmaker who represented Ohaukwu North Constituency in the Ebonyi state House of Assembly between 2011 and 2019, Hon Barr. Frank Nwaka Onwe appreciated the warm reception he received from the party and commended the giant strides of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru so far.
He promised to be a loyal party faithful who would be part of rebuilding his community and the State in general.
