Ebonyi APC Chair, Emegha, Congratulates Professor Ani On Victory At Ebonyi South By-Election

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ebonyi State, Hon. Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has conveyed a heartwarming congratulatory message to the Senator-elect of Ebonyi South Senatorial District, Professor Anthony Okorie Ani on his overwhelming victory at the just concluded by-election held on Saturday, February 3, 2024.

Chief Emegha conveyed the message while interacting with newsmen in Abakaliki shortly after the pronouncement of Professor Ani as the winner of the just concluded election.

According to him, "The most distinguished federal legislator-elect, your win reflects the customary affection the electorate have for the ruling APC and His Excellency, our dear Governor, Right Honourable (Dr) Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru who has positively transformed their lives."

Without mincing words, my unreserved felicitations go to our inimitable Governor and leader whose guidance and contributions towards the historic victory cannot be quantified either in words or actions. My Boss and most friendly leader, your achievements so far in the office made the electorate to willingly cast their ballots without persuasion or lobbying of any kind." he added.

The party Chairman further stated that the most distinguished senator -elect, Professor Ani, deserves all the encomiums as the man destined to give qualitative representation to the people at this critical time in existence because of his legacies of academic excellence among other leadership skills he possess.

He expressed optimism that the unprecedented support at the poll where Professor Ani garnered 46,270 votes while gis closest rival secured 3,513 votes confirmed that the party and her leadership made the right decision in presenting him at the poll.

"Kindly, accept the assurances of my total support and willingness to assist when approached. Congratulations once more and best wishes". Emegha said.

On his part, the Senator-elect, Professor Ani thanked Almighty God for the opportunity given to him to serve as a Senator and however, appreciated the Governor, Rt. Hon Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his support sine the beginning of the race and promised to que on His Excellency's People's Charter of Need mantra.

He further appreciated the effort of the Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Umahi for his fatherly support and advice since he was pronounced the candidate of the party.

Professor Ani also appreciated the the All Progressives Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, dignitaries from Ebonyi South, Local Govt Chairmen, Commissioners, SSS, House of Assembly Members, Head of Service Board Members ( Past and present) and several other personalities.

He appreciated his constituents for believing in his capacity and reaffirmed his commitment to bringing development and other dividends of democracy to the Zone.
