EASTER CELEBRATION: Sen Jarigbe Doles out N44m, Preaches Hope, Peace, Sacrifice

As Christians around the world commemorate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has extended his warm felicitations to Christians in his constituency, Nigeria and the world at large.

The lawmaker enjoined Christians in Cross River North Senatorial District to reflect on the enduring values of hope, sacrifice, and renewed purpose for their communities and Nigeria. 

In the face of rising inflation and insecurity across Nigeria, Senator Jarigbe reassured his constituents of his commitment to serving them and working towards a brighter future for each of them.

To this effect, the constituency officer, Mr. Egar Mgbantul, has distributed N500,000 to each of the 54 wards in Cross River North Senatorial District, totaling N27 million. 

Additionally, N7m was distributed to Heads of Security Agencies across the five Local Government Areas for the Easter Celebration. N5m to non-indigenous groups and N5m to the members of the State Working Committee of the PDP in Cross River State, for the Easter celebration.

He called on all Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, tolerance and peace in their Easter.
