C'River Would Regain Its Place As Nigeria's Tourists Haven - Gov Otu

Cross River governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has promised to return the State to its pride of place as Nigeria's tourists destination.
Otu, who was gave the assurance while commissioning the palatial Kada Cinemas house at the Marina Resort in Calabar, the state capital, said: "my administration is willing and ready to continue to support in any way we can so that life will return to normal."
“This is just the beginning, we will be cutting the tape for many more things.
“We are so glad and happy that we started with this and I know that greater things will be added.

Senator Otu lauded the former governor of Edo State, Lucky Igbenidion, for deciding to invest in the state.
He stated that from the 1st to the 31st of December, Cross River would be hosting tourists and fun seekers all over the world with its rich cultural heritage through the Carnival Calabar International Festival, while expressing optimism for many more tourism and investments opportunities.
Earlier in his remarks, Kada Cinema's Managing Director, Mr. Trevor Logan Pillay stated that the Kada Group was excited to be providing onscreen entertainment services to fun lovers in the state, adding that the company is anticipating a unique big screen experience.
The MD informed that besides the Cinema, the conglomerate is also bringing in the Kada Healthcare and Pharmacy as well as other investments to the state.
Speaking, the Managing Director of the Cross River State Tourism Bureau, Prince Ojoi Ekpenyong, said the Cinema, located at the scenic Marina Resort along the historic river, would provide an amazing experience for big screen enthusiasts and visitors to the State.
