Akwa Ibom Polytechnic Gets New Deputy Rector

The Akwa Ibom Commissioner for Information, Hon. Idongesit Etiebet has approved the appointment of Dr Lionel Ukoka as Deputy Rector of the state owned Polytechnic, in Ikot Usurua, Ikot Ekpene.

Dr. Lionel Ukoka MNIPR ,FIPMD was Dean School of Communication Arts and immediate past Dean Evening/part time programme in the Polytechnic.

Conveying the Commissioner's approval to staff, students and the entire Polytechnic community, the Acting Registrar , Goodwill Udofah on behalf of the Rector, Dr Moses Umobong said the appointment takes effect from August 10,2023.

Accordingly, the Polytechnic community has been requested to take note and accord him necessary recognition and cooperation.
