C'River: Popular 'Good Shepherd' Roundabout, Among Multimillion Property Destroyed As Turbulent Rainfall Wrecks Capital City

The heavy rain and thunder storm experienced in Calabar on Saturday night has left the ancient city in a wreckage, destroying properties worth millions of naira.
Most notable among property destroyed is the Zone 6 'Good Shepherd' roundabout, with the 'Good Shepherd' and some of his sheep were blown away as a result of strong winds. No life was lost, THE BEAGLE NEWS investigation can revealed.
Our reporter who monitored the aftermath of the rain around Calabar metropolis revealed that the windy rainfall had destroyed houses, pulled down trees and left so many streets in the metropolis with its wreckage.
Streets like Etta Agbor, Essien Town, Murtala Muhammed Highway, Ikot Effa and Spring Road, etc, are experiencing blockade as a result of fallen trees.
Along Mount Zion, heavy flood had swept cars into gutters while others left by the road side are all covered with debris from the flood.
At the time of filling this report, no loss of life has been reported as a result of the torrential rain.
