C/River PDP Rejects Appeal Judgement, To Seek Redress In Supreme Court

The Cross River State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed dissatisfaction with the judgement at the appeal court sitting in Lagos which declared Governor Bassey Otu Winner of the March 18 Governorship.
A release from the state chapter of the party which was signed by the state publicity secretary Mike Ojisi stated that the judgement did not reflect the full conviction of the party’s position on the process leading to the election.
He hinted that the party will be seeking legal opinions and exhausting all legal means towards reclaiming the party’s mandate while calling on party faithful and supporters to remain calm and go about their normal businesses.
