Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Agbeh, Sues For an Accident Free Season

THE Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Agbeh, has called for an accident-free Christmas season, emphasizing that life is for the living.

Hon. Agbeh made the appeal when he flagged off the "EMBER MONTH" campaign organized by the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogoja. He urged for increased education on road safety practices and the importance of adhering to traffic rules to ensure motorists drive responsibly.

Earlier, the Ogoja Unit Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Essien Ukpabio, expressed his appreciation for the Chairman's participation, noting that the Ember Month campaign is an annual initiative aimed at ensuring the safety of travelers during the festive period. He assured the community that his command would operate around the clock throughout the yuletide season.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Leader of the Ogoja Legislature, Hon. (Dr.) Elizabeth Mbim, the Deputy Leader, Hon. Sunday Achang, a contingent of Special Marshals from the Ogoja Unit Command, and officials from the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
