Biase Paramount Ruler Congratulates Newly Inaugurated Chairman

The Onun Usor 1 and the paramount Ruler Of Biase local government area, Onun Apostle Nicholas Odum, has joined thousands of good people of Biase, friends and well-wishers to congratulate the newly inaugurated chairman of Biase Local Government Area Hon. Edodi Eyong Edodi and the vice chairman, Hon. Ekum, on their landslide victory on the just- concluded local government election and subsequent wearing in. 

The Onun Usor 1, who commended the All Progress congress (APC), stakeholders and the state governor, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for the choice of Hon. Edodi Eyong Edodi as chairman of Biase local government area, described Edodi's election as welcome development and charged him to use his wealth of experience as businessmen to transform the Biase local government area to greater height. 

The monarch, who spoke behalf of himself, the traditional rulers council of Biase and the good people of Biase, appealed to sons and daughters of Biase to co-operate and support the Edodi-led administration to enable him to deliver the dividends of democracy and his electioneering campaign promises to the people. 

He further appealed to all those who competed in the primary and the election with him to shield their grievances and co-operate with him for the interest of the Biase people adding that the interest of Biase people should be first.

The royal father, who stated this in his office Ibogo – Akpet central, commended the Cross River State House of Assembly for their motion in calling on the state government and relevant agencies to come to the aid of communities in Biase, specially the Ikum community that share boundary with Ohofia community in Abia state.

He enjoined them to finally demarcate the boundary between the two states to avoid another communal clash and commended the state governor for his developmental stride in his assumption of office.
