Akwa Ibom AICLEF elects pioneer chairman

A religious body in the country, Akwa Ibom Clergy Forum (AICLEF) has inaugurated its Akwa Ibom state chapter with Evangelist Gabriel Isong emerging as the pioneer chairman.
The inaugural ceremony took place at Splendour of God Mission International, along Peter Ubo Street, in Uyo, had in attendance a cream of gospel ministers within and outside the state.
In his remarks, the chairman of the occasion, Evang. Great Otosin, said he was delighted to be part of history, describing the assemblage of Akwa Ibom clergies as a vehicle for promoting unity and expansion of God's kingdom.
He called for mutual support and cooperation among members stress that" the propagations of the gospel requires teamwork approach, rather than denominational boundaries,” admonishing members to always adhere strictly to the tenets of the forum, and work in unity with their newly sworn in Chairman, so as to guarantee successful tenure.
Responding, the newly inaugurated chairman, Evang. Gabriel Isong said he is delighted to emerge as the pioneer leader of AICLEF and expressed appreciation to God and all dignitaries for gracing the historic event.
He revealed that the forum was floated to enhance collaboration and closer ties with relevant government agencies for mutual benefits, promising not leave any stone unturned to ensure that the essence of the organisation is upheld, while soliciting for collective collaborations from members for attainment of common objectives. "This confidence reposed on me by my colleagues will spur me to do my best for and uplift this great forum, I will never disappointed you," he said.
