Gov. Otu in Egypt For 3rd African Sub-Sovereign Government Network Conference, Holds Business Meeting With ARISE CEO

Cross River state government commitment towards partnerning with private sectors seem to be yielding positive results as Governor Bassey Otu was one of the stakeholders at the 3rd Conference of the African Sub-Sovereign Government Network currently going on at the Intra-African Trade Fair in Cairo, Egypt.

The event organized by the African Import-Export Bank and aimed at rubbing minds with critical stakeholders and government at various levels on the need to explore investment opportunities in Africa.

H E, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey represented Governor Bassey Otu.

During the visit, the Deputy Governor is held critical meetings with the CEO of ARISE, Mr. Gagan Gupta.

ARISE was one of the companies that participated in the International Cooperation and Investment Summit held in Calabar earlier in September, 2023. 

The company has investments in various sectors including transportation, energy and gas, in Gabon, Benin, Togo, Kenya and Nigeria.
