10 ACADEMICS JOIN THE PROFESSORIAL CADRE OF UNICAL

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar and Chairman of the Senate of the institution, Prof Florence Obi today announced the promotion of 10 Academic Staff to the professorial cadre.

The beneficiaries of the promotion exercise as announced by the Vice Chancellor includes 6 Professors and 4 Associate Professors, drawn from departments in the faculties of Arts, Agriculture, Social Science, Clinical Science and Education respectively.

The new Professors are Stanislaus Iyorza ( Mass Comm), German Anagbogu ( Edu.Foundations), Stop Obun ( Educational Management), Dodeye Williams ( Pol. Science), Ekwutosi Offiong (Hist & International Studies) and Atana Ewa (Paediatrics).

The new Associate Professors are Dr John Effiong ( Agricultural Extension), Dr Edisua Merab Yta (Theatre & Media Studies), Dr Arnold Udoka (Theatre & Media Studies) and Dr Melvina Amalu (Educational Foundation).

The Vice Chancellor congratulated them and charge them to serve the University with greater zeal.
