Biase Council Boss Commences 4-km Abini/Agwagune Road Construction... Inspects Ongoing Projects

  In a bid to enhance development and accessibility across  Biase local government area, the Council Chairman,  Hon. Edodi Eyong Edodi has commenced the construction of a 4-kilometer access road between Abini and Agwagune communities.


  The ground breaking cereal was proceeded by inspecting an inspection tour of other  numerous people -  oriented projects littered in the area by his administration.

The  Council Boss, explained that the road project represents  a deliberate effort to link up Abini with other riverine communities in Biase as well as promote growth and strengthen economic synergy between the two communities and Biase Local Government Area  as a whole.

  "We are committed to connecting more communities in Biase, as this will drive economic growth and foster development. My administration remains dedicated to ensuring that our communities are well linked for the benefit of all." Edodi emphasised.

  Inspecting work at the Solar powered boreholes sited at Umuolor, Ipene, Abanwan, Urugbam and  Afono communities established in both Erei Northern and Southern Biase, the Council Chairman reaffirmed his administration's commitment towards community development  as well as improve the living standard of the people.

  Other key infrastructural projects were construction of the Mimi - bridge in Egbor community, renovation of open Market stalls and drainage control in Abanwan and the abandoned construction of the Adim primary school project.
  
  At the Adim abandoned primary school project, it was discovered that pupils were compelled to receive lessons along Idomi road, under the property of a public spirited Elderstates man in the area, Mr Edodi Umet Ikwa who offered to  assist.

  Hon. Edodi expressed appreciation for Mr Ikwa gesture and vowed to ensure the completion of the school project in no distant time. 

 _"I am here to inspect the ongoing school project in Adim. This is a great community, and my administration will ensure that every part of Biase benefits from meaningful development projects. By next week, work will commence on this site,"_ he stated.

The Council Chairman also emphasized his administration’s dedication to the welfare of all Biase people, including the elderly. _"We will continue to look into the welfare of every Biase person, both young and old,"_ he assured.

   In his response,  Mr. Edodi Umet Ikwa commended the Chairman’s timely intervention saying, _"Thank you , Hon. Chairman for your fatherly efforts. May God bless you throughout your tenure as Executive Chairman of Biase."_

The primary school project is expected to provide significant educational benefits to the people of Adim and contribute to the overall academic and infrastructural development of Biase LGA.

Present at the inspection tour were the Vice Chairman, Hon. Ekuma Ngwu, JP; Barr. Okio James, Legal Adviser to the Executive Chairman; Chief Echip, Chairman of the Anti-Illegal Tax Force, along with members of his team among others.
