Man Utd Target Conor Gallagher in 2026

Manchester United will add at least one midfielder in 2026, with Atletico Madrid's Conor Gallagher one of their potential options, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed

In the summer transfer window, United heavily focused on improving their attacking options after a disappointing 2024/2025 campaign when it came to production in the final third. Matheus Cunha, Benjamin Sesko, and Bryan Mbeumo arrived through the door at Old Trafford, while they also brought in Senne Lammens between the sticks.

Focus will now likely shift to other positions in 2026, with their attack and goalkeeper situations resolved. A midfielder will likely be the priority, considering Ruben Amorim clearly doesn't fancy Kobbie Mainoo, and Manuel Ugarte has struggled to make a significant impact since signing on the dotted line.
