MAN Seeks Stronger Collaboration with C'River Govt to Boost Industrial Growth

The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria has called for stronger collaboration with the Cross River State Government to enhance industrial growth and improve the operating environment for manufacturers in the state.

The call was made during a courtesy visit by a delegation of the association to state officials, where discussions focused on policies and strategies aimed at strengthening the manufacturing sector and attracting more investments into Cross River.

Speaking during the engagement, representatives of the association emphasised the need for sustained partnership between government and the private sector, noting that improved infrastructure, supportive policies, and a stable business environment are essential for the growth of local industries.

Responding, the state government reaffirmed its commitment to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive, stressing that industrial development remains a key component of its economic agenda.

Those present at the meeting included the Secretary to the State Government, Anthony Owan Enoh; the Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Cross River State Planning Commission, Bong Duke; and the Director General of MAN, Segun Ajayi-Kadir.

Also in attendance were the Director of Membership Division, Joseph Emoleke; Director of Special Duties, Kanayo Iwuchukwu; and the Chairman of MAN, Cross River/Akwa Ibom Branch, Adoga Inalegwu, among others.
