Ikom Lawmaker Hails Peaceful Cross River APC Congress, Congratulates Etta Led EXCO

The member representing Ikom 1 in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Samuel Neji Abang, has congratulated the new Cross River APC executive, chaired by Hon. Christopher Etta, calling the congress "peaceful and successful". 

Abang, who hailed Governor Bassey Otu for his outstanding leadership prowess, said Etta's emergence is a testament to the confidence the party reposes in him as a former federal lawmaker with a wealth of experience. 

Describing their appointments as a pride to the people of Ikom, the lawmaker also congratulated two Ikom sons, Hon. Ayiba Ojong Ayiba, who emerged as Vice Chairman Central, and Akanya Agbor, Assistant State Financial Secretary, expressing confidence in their capacity to deliver with integrity, dedication, and loyalty to party ideals. 

He urged the newly sworn-in EXCO to jealously guard the party's unity and work for the re-election of Senator Bassey Otu and all other APC candidates in 2027.
