Gov Otu’s Chief of Staff, Ironbar, Celebrated by Asset Recovery Adviser on Honorary Doctorate Award

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Asset Management and Recovery, Barr. Gilbert Agbor, has congratulated the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, on his conferment with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Public Policy and Administration by the globally recognized Crown University of Delaware, USA.
The honorary degree, formally awarded on today (Saturday, July 26, 2025), at the University of Lagos, has been widely described as a fitting tribute to Hon. Ironbar’s distinguished record of public service, visionary leadership, and ethical governance.
In a powerful congratulatory message issued from his office in Calabar, Barr. Agbor described the award not as a mere ceremonial title, but as a profound validation of Hon. Ironbar’s commitment to excellence in public administration and strategic governance.
“This honour is not merely a ceremonial title,” Barr. Agbor wrote, “but a resounding testament to your towering contributions to public administration, your uncommon commitment to ethical leadership, and your unwavering dedication to the growth and transformation of Cross River State.”

Barr. Agbor added that the honorary doctorate confirms what many in Cross River State already believe—that Hon. Ironbar is a leader of national significance and global relevance, whose influence continues to inspire a new generation of public servants.
