Exposed How Rivers Lawmakers Got N450m, SUV Each From Former Sole Administrator

National Leader of the Rivers Grassroots Movement (RGM), High Chief Sobomabo Jackrich, has disclosed that the former Sole Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, allegedly authorized 450 million naira for each legislator in the state's House of Assembly during the emergency rule in Rivers State. 

Jackrich stated in a video posted by Symfoni TV that Ibas also provided each member of the Rivers House of Assembly with an SUV. He claimed that the legislators amassed these perks without asking if the money was included in the state's official budget.

 He claimed that no objections were made during that period. 

In Jackrich words: According to reports, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, the former Sole Administrator, authorized N450m for each legislator, as well as one SUV per member, during the emergency rule. 

These very legislators gathered these benefits without asking if they were included in the state's appropriation legislation, and no opposition was voiced at the time.
