CTRA To Begin Enforcement Of State Colour For Commercial Vehicles Nov 1
The Cross River State Government has reminded intra City commercial drivers in Cross River State that enforcement of the approved State Colour for all intra-city commercial vehicles will begin from November 1, 2026.
This was contained in a public notice issued on Tuesday
According to a notice issued on Tuesday by the Cross River State Unified Commercial Drivers Association, signed by the State Public Relations Officer, Hon. Oyeghe Gabriel, the deadline given by the Cross River State Commercial Transport Regulatory Agency (CTRA) for the rebranding of registered vehicles will expire on October 31, 2026.
The Chairman of CTRA, Hon. Oliver Orok, and the State Chairman of the Unified Commercial Drivers Association, Comr. NTA Henshaw, have therefore urged all drivers who are yet to rebrand their vehicles to do so immediately to avoid sanctions.
The association said the enforcement will affect two categories of drivers: those who have paid for rebranding but have refused or failed to rebrand their vehicles, and those who are yet to make payment for the exercise.
It advised drivers who have made payment but are experiencing challenges with rebranding to meet with the State Chairman, Comr. NTA Henshaw, for immediate resolution.
