Coalition Demands Sack Of Tinubu's Aide For Criticising Wike
A coalition of 41 political groups in Rivers State, led by the Rivers Restoration Movement, has called on President Bola Tinubu to sack his Special Adviser on Media, Daniel Bwala.
This demand follows Bwala’s harsh public attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
The groups described Bwala’s comments as unfair and damaging, accusing him of still being loyal to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. They stressed Wike’s key role in helping Tinubu win Rivers State during the 2023 elections, calling Bwala’s attacks an attempt to weaken Wike’s influence.
The coalition warned that Bwala’s words could hurt President Tinubu’s image and urged the president to remove him for misrepresenting the government.
They remain confident that under Wike’s leadership, Tinubu will gain strong support in Rivers State and beyond for the 2027 elections.
