Arsenal are monitoring Newcastle’s Tino Livramento ahead of a summer move

The Newcastle full-back, 23, is set to be at the centre of a battle between the Gunners and Manchester City at the end of the season.

Arsenal would need to pay at least £60m to land Tino Livramento from Newcastle 

Livramento is considered one of the top Toon assets by boss Eddie Howe meaning he will not want to lose the defender on the cheap.

An asking price of more than £60million was touted last year – though the former Southampton man will only have two years left on his deal come the end of the season.

Livramento confirmed in December that there had been no talks over a new contract with the club.

However, it is understood that fresh terms for the full-back are a priority for bosses at St. James’ Park.

Despite having Jurrien Timber thriving at right-back, Mikel Arteta is in the market for more competition at the back – especially after Myles Lewis-Skelly’s struggles this season.
