APC Reopens Nationwide Electronic Membership Registration Ahead of 2027 Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the reopening of its membership electronic-registration exercise across Nigeria, effective Monday, August 31, 2026, in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
In a press statement signed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party invited all stakeholders, supporters, and members both existing and new to participate in the exercise, which will take place in every ward nationwide.
Existing members are required to validate their membership records, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and join the party. Eligibility is restricted to individuals aged 18 years or older who possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
According to the statement, the e-registration exercise aims to digitise the party’s membership register, safeguard the integrity of membership records, improve access to data for planning and management, promote internal democracy, and reinforce the APC’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
