APC Congress: Chris Ettah Emerges C'River New APC Chair

Boki- born Christopher Ettah has emerged as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River state.
Other members are, Bar. Ugana Lukpata - State Deputy Chairman, Pst. Patrick Asikpo Okon- State Secretary while Hon Martins Erasmus is now the State Treasurer among others.
All twenty-three (36) new Member Executive emerged by consensus after a prolonged tension packed critical Stakeholders meeting held at the State Library Complex, Calabar.
Speaking the Leader of the APC State Congress Committee, Mr Samuel Yanab, congratulated the Cross River new Executive for their emergence and advised them to always stand by the truth so as to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the state and the Party in general. He charged them to conduct the swearing-in of the new Ward and Chapter Executives across the local government areas at the earliest possible time.
"I encourage you to discharge your duties with utmost sincerity, fairness and justice, so as to leave a positive mark in the sands of time. Don't be carried away by lies and intimidation," Yanab admonished.
In his inaugural speech, the new APC Chairman in the state, Hon Christopher Ettah, was thankful to the Leader of the Party in the state, Governor Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Stakeholders and delegates for finding them worthy to serve and solicited their collective support to make the Party stronger.
"We will not disappoint you and will align the vision of the Party with that of the programmes and policies of the state government for the benefit of all. We promise to give a listening ear to everyone and are willing to address any challenge brought before us, if it's beyond our scope, our Leader can handle it. Most especially, we need your favour and help collectively to keep APC stronger in Cross River," Ettah pleaded.
Highlights was the motion for the dissolution of the former APC Executive and another motion affirming the new State Executive accompanied by the swearing in of the APC new Exco members.
