Abia: Kalu, Orji Plots To Stop Otti’s second term

Plots to stop Abia State Governor Alex Oti's second term seems to be gathering momentum as the past two Governors, Orji Kalu and Theodore Orji, have regrouped to non it in the bud.

The duo met in Umuahia last Friday to strategise on reclaiming power from Alex Otti, the state governor.

Kalu said the gathering was convened to bring together political actors who served in the state between 2009 and 2023 to forge a common political front.

Kalu, Abia north senator, proposed expanding the group to accommodate all former political office holders in the state within the same period.
