2027: PROJECT 6 CENTRAL EMANCIPATION FOR SWEETNESS INAUGURATED IN YAKURR LGA

AHEAD of 2027, Project 6 Central Emancipation for Sweetness has been inaugurated in Yakurr local government area in central Senatorial district of Cross River State.
The Project 6 Central Working Team is a movement anchored on quality leadership and is determined to reposition the Central Senatorial District in the state's scheme of things
It's mission is also to try in into the Season of Sweetness by echoing the state government's vision, led by Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu.
The inauguration ceremony, held on November 11, 2025, was attended by the dynamic SA and CEO of Obudu Ranch Resort, Sunday Michael. Michael, who is the leaders of the Movement in his address enjoined the team to work in harmony with LGA and Ward coordinators.
He advised them to eschew negative vibes and comments that could hinder progress and cause disaffections among the leadership of Yakurr people, saying " all we want is quality leadership and the. Preach the Gospel that the Season of Sweetness is here with us."
To pilot the affairs of the Movement, Kingsize Vincent was appointed as Director General,
Osam Dorathy, Deputy DG, Godfrey Obo as Secretary General, Hon Philip Obugha as Director Contact and Mobilization.and Ojen Enang as Deputy Director Contact and Mobilization
Other officers are Rose Ntui as Director Women Mobilization, Imoke Emmanuel as Director Youth Mobilization, Sunday Ebinda as Director of Security and Elvis Ndifon as Director Media and Publicity.
Speaking shortly after the inauguration, Kingsize Vincent, the Director General, expressed their gratitude to Comrade Michael for the opportunity to serve and pledged to work tirelessly towards achieving the team's objectives.
