2027: Ikom, Boki, Obubra, Etung Committed To Otu, Tinubu Re-election - Ndoma-Egba

Former Senate Leader Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, has declared that the people of Ikom, Boki, Obubra and Etung are fully committed to the re-election of Governor Bassey Otu and President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Speaking at the IBOE Alliance Special Dinner and Strategic Engagement with Governor Bassey Otu held on Tuesday at Hogis Hotel, Calabar, Ndoma-Egba said the four local government areas that make up the Alliance have resolved to speak with one voice.

"The people of Ikom, Boki, Obubra and Etung are committed to the return of Senator Bassey Otu as Governor in 2027," he told the gathering.

He added that the same commitment extends to the centre, stressing the need for Cross River to remain aligned with the Federal Government.

"We're also committed to the return of the President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We have to be connected to the Centre," Ndoma-Egba stated.

The former Senator who represented Cross River Central Senatorial District noted that unity among the four LGAs under the IBOE Alliance platform remains critical to sustaining political relevance and attracting development. 

The dinner, themed "One Purpose, One Vision," brought together stakeholders from across the four LGAs in a show of solidarity with the Otu's administration.
