We Won't Allow Wike To Destroy APC After Destroying PDP - Farouk Aliyu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Farouk Aliyu, has accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, of plotting to destabilize the ruling party after allegedly destroying the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Aliyu, a former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, made the allegation while speaking on the ongoing crisis within the opposition and the brewing tension in the APC.

"Wike destroyed PDP for us, that is fine and good, but we will not allow Wike to destroy APC to rebuild PDP".

"Never, we will not allow him to destroy APC. Wike willingly destroyed PDP for us, we did not force him," Aliyu said.

According to him, the former Rivers State Governor willingly worked against his own party, the PDP, to the advantage of the APC, without being forced by anyone.

The APC chieftain further alleged that Wike is now making moves to rebuild the PDP while sowing confusion within the APC to push aggrieved members back to the opposition.

"Right now, Wike is trying to rebuild PDP back and he is trying to put confusion among APC so that they will want to go back to PDP. We will not allow that," Aliyu alleged.

Aliyu's comments come amid growing speculations over Wike's political manoeuvres and his continued influence in both the APC-led federal government and the PDP.
