URGENT PUBLIC NOTICE ON 2026/2027 ADMISSIONS

This is to inform prospective candidates and the general public that the University of Calabar will not be admitting students into the following programs for the 2026/2027 session; Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Sciences and Dentistry.

Candidates who had chosen the University of Calabar as their preferred institution are therefore advised to urgently visit the JAMB office close to them to effect a change of university.

According to the Registrar, Dr. Mrs Chukwuka I. Icha, candidates are to *note that the window for this change of institution will close at the end of the month of July.*

For the avoidance of doubt, the University of Calabar is NOT THE ONLY UNIVERSITY affected by this directive but is one amongst three(3) other universities affected by this scenario.

Candidates and the general public are further advised to be wary of unverified in information, making the rounds on social media, in this regard.
