UNICAL SET FOR INVESTITURE OF 12TH VICE-CHANCELLOR

The University of Calabar will on Monday, December 1, 2025, formally invest Prof. Offiong Efanga Offiong as the 12th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the University.

According to a release by the University Registrar and Secretary of Council, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, the event is scheduled to hold at the God'swill Akpabio International Conference Centre of the Institution beginning at 11:00am prompt.

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the University's Governing Council, DIG Udom U. Ekpoudom (Rtd), OON, who is also the Chairman/Host of the investiture ceremony, is expected to grace the event alongside other distinguished members of Council.

By this notice, Principal Officers, Provosts, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments and Units, are enjoined to be seated before the arrival of the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council.

Members of the University community and the general public are hereby invited to attend this historic investiture ceremony in honour of Prof. Offiong Efanga Offiong, the 12th Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calabar.
