Nottingham Forest made formal approach with Roberto Mancini after Postecoglou got sacked.
Postecoglou was sacked on Saturday after Forest lost to Chelsea 3:0 at home after an 8 game winless run.
Mancini hasn’t given any indication on his plans yet to take over but formal approach made by forest.
