Senate Race: Legor Idagbo Steps Down For Jarigbe

In a show of sportsmanship, Hon Legor Idagbo has stepped down for Sen Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe ahead of APC party primary for Cross River North Senatorial District.

This was disclosed at the Ogoja Local Government Council Hall today April 30, 2026, venue for screening of National Assembly aspirants.

Speaking during the screening, Sen Jarigbe Agom, said: “My brother Rt Hon Legor Idagbo and I have come here to tell you there is peace in Cross River North.

"We have decided that I should stand for the election and that is real bortherhood.

"And I can assure my people that I won't take it for granted. We shall continue to work as one and an indivisible north because together we can achieve our dreams and aspirations."
