The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Zone 6 Command, heartily congratulates Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Rashid B. Afegbua, psc, mnips, mspsp, on his well-deserved promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police and his assumption of duty as the AIG in charge of Zone 6 Police Headquarters, Calabar, on Monday.
Prior to his promotion, AIG Rashid B. Afegbua served with distinction as the Commissioner of Police, Cross River State Command, where he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication to duty, and an unwavering commitment to maintaining peace, law, and order. His remarkable achievements in crime prevention, intelligence-led policing, and fostering cordial police-community relations earned him the admiration and confidence of the people of Cross River State.
The PCRC, Zone 6, is delighted that such an experienced, disciplined, and people-oriented police officer has now assumed the responsibility of overseeing policing activities across the Zone. We are confident that his wealth of experience, strategic leadership, and commitment to excellence will further strengthen security, deepen community policing, and enhance public confidence in the Nigeria Police Force.
On behalf of the Chairman, Executive Members, State Commands, Area Commands, Divisional Executives, and the entire membership of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Zone 6, we warmly welcome AIG Rashid B.
