Oden Ewa Foundation Names 2025 Scholarship Awardees

The Oden Ewa Foundation has announced the successful candidates for its 2025 Scholarship Programme at the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep. The scheme, which is structured to run for ten years, seeks to empower Nigerian youths through access to quality education and the development of relevant skills in line with global trends in Artificial Intelligence and manpower advancement.
Each year, 150 students are selected as beneficiaries of the scholarship. The initiative is cumulative, meaning new beneficiaries are added annually while existing ones continue to receive support. By next year, a total of 300 students, comprising both continuing and newly selected scholars, will be sponsored under the Foundation’s programme.
In a statement issued by the Director of Administration, Dr. Usani Joseph Ofem, successful candidates have been advised to visit the Foundation’s Secretariat to collect their scholarship letters or check their registered email addresses for downloadable copies.
Dr. Ofem reaffirmed the Foundation’s dedication to sustaining the scholarship scheme, describing education as a powerful tool for youth empowerment and societal growth. He noted that the Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Oden Ewa, remains passionate about supporting education as a way of raising a generation of skilled and responsible citizens.
“Hon. Oden Ewa believes that true empowerment comes through education. His vision is to build a generation that understands its worth and contributes meaningfully to society rather than being manipulated by those who do not value them,” Dr. Ofem stated.
He emphasized that the selection process was transparent and merit-based, carried out strictly in accordance with the Foundation’s guidelines. Dr. Ofem, a seasoned educationist, added that the Oden Ewa Foundation remains committed to fostering excellence, fairness, and opportunity among young Nigerians.
The Foundation congratulated all successful candidates and urged them to make good use of the scholarship opportunity to improve both their academic and personal development.
