OBUBRA: Ebokpo Donates 200 Bags of Rice To Victims of Ochon, Alesi Communal Clash

A community leader and a legal practitioner, Barr. John Ebokpo, has donated 200 bags of rice to support communities affected by the recent Ochon–Alesi crisis in Ochon Ward, Obubra local government area of Cross River sate.
Ebokpo was accompanied by the member representing Obubra Constituency II in the Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Egbe Abeng,.
The relief materials were distributed to residents of Odonget, Isabang, Ochon, and Onyenokpon, communities that have experienced social and economic strain as a result of the crisis.
The intervention was aimed at providing immediate support to vulnerable families and helping ease the burden during the recovery process.
Speaking, Ebokpo described the gesture as an act of humanity and solidarity, stressing that moments of difficulty require collective action, empathy, and sincere concern for one another, emphasizing the need for healing, understanding, and peaceful coexistence among affected communities.
