NUJ-CRS Council, Profiles Biographies' Firm to publish 100 Most Influential Politicians in CRS

The Cross River State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) in collaboration with Profiles & Biographies and Storyline Ltd is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking biographical compendium of 100 most influential politicians in Cross River State.
In a statement jointly issued by the Chairman of the State Council of NUJ, Archibong Bassey and the Project Director, Kammonke Abam, the compendium will capture trailblazers, leaders of thought, and changemakers who are driving political reforms and building a sustainable and transformative pathway of development.
They noted that the books, which are co edited by Dr. Judex Okoro of THE BEAGLE NEWS Newspaper, Archibong Bassey, and Kammonke Abam, would feed the national biographical compendium of the Most Influential Politicians in Nigeria, 2026 scheduled to be released in December
“We are presenting the best of the best that the state has to compete with the remaining 36 states and the FCT for inclusion in the national biographical compendium of Nigeria’s 100 Most Influential Politicians”, they said
“Beyond the recognition, the proposed publication is intended to serve as a credible reference resource for international organisations, development institutions, election-management stakeholders, researchers, media organisations, civil society organisations, policy institutions, and other stakeholders interested in Nigeria’s democratic and political development.”, they added
They also announced an ancillary biographical compendium of young upwardly mobile men and women demonstrating exemplary leadership in their spheres of influence and in their communities with potential to take up leadership roles in the state and country in the future.
Titled, "Young Leaders to watch," the compendium recognises eligible listees for their professional accomplishments, outstanding commitment to the development of their communities, active engagement in the emerging political order, creative thought leadership and innovative approaches to addressing challenges of our time.
They would also serve as role models to young professionals with aspirations for continued leadership development.
They said that the publications are a contribution to sustaining an enduring democracy in the the country, adding that the “fusion of these two extraordinary biographical compendia is an innovative addition to political leadership literature documentation”
