Nigerian Canadian-based real estate mogul and philanthropist, Princewill Ogban, has distributed Christmas gift running into millions of Naira to APC stakeholders, women and others in Erei North in Biase local government area of Cross River state.

The beneficiaries cuts across the five villages of Etana, Obum, Umuolor, Agbor, and Ipene of iErei North.

This is the 7th time the communities have benefited from Ogban's gesture. Each of the beneficiaries got between N100,000 and N3000 each.

In a telephone interview with THE BEAGLE NEWS Ogban said: "I gave out between N100,000 and N3,000 each to APC ward Exco, women, the vulnerable and some selected persons identified as in need in my home community and neighbouring villages as Christmas gift.

"Although I'm based in Canada, I still reflect on the poverty that exist is Nigeria and that's why I choose to always put smiles on the faces of vulnerable folks in my home community.

"As I watched the video from beneficiaries with my family in Canada, it also allows my kids who are born in Canada to have a glimpse of the experiences of the most vulnerable in my home community.

"This would help cushion the prevailing hardship and the economic uncertainty in Nigeria."

Some of the beneficiaries commended Ogban for his assistance at this nick of time, prayed for God's guidance ahead of the New Year, saying the gift will go a long way into assisting the family this season

The new beneficiaries were so happy and excited as this is first time that cash gifts were delivered to them right in their houses in the village.

They prayed for blessings for Princewill and his family, sincerely appreciate this kindness especially knowing that this gift is from Princewill's hard-earned money
