NIGERIA AT 65: Senator Eteng Felicitates With Constituents

As our beloved nation marks her 65th Independence Anniversary, I join millions of Nigerians at home and abroad in celebrating this historic occasion.
This anniversary not only presents us with an opportunity to give thanks to God for preserving us despite our challenges, but also a time for sober reflection on how, as citizens and leaders, we can contribute to strengthening our country, upholding peace and harmony, and embracing the common humanity that shines so brilliantly through our diversity.
While we are passing through a myriad of challenges, nothing is insurmountable if we set our minds to it. With our never-say-never spirit as Nigerians, we can overcome today’s difficulties and build a brighter tomorrow.
I commend the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his leadership and commitment to stabilizing our economy.
I also applaud our People’s First Governor, His Excellency, Prince Bassey Edet Otu, for his unwavering efforts in restoring the lost glory of Cross River State. Under his watch, our state has continued to enjoy cherished peace and a renewed sense of hope.
At 65, I call on all Nigerians to renew their faith in our nation. With unity of purpose, hard work, and an unyielding belief in our destiny, we shall overcome our challenges and achieve the Nigeria of our dreams.
May the Almighty continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
