YELUTIDE: ISLAMIC CLERICS VISIT DEEPER LIFE CHURCH IN TARABA FOR CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

In a determined efforts aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance, a high powered delegation of Islamic preachers, led by the Special Adviser to Taraba Governor Agbu Kefas on Muslim Religious Matters, Alhaji Hussaini Ismail, on Sunday, paid a Christmas visit to Pastor Samuel Omajali, the Regional Overseer of Deeper Life Church in the state.

The visit, intended to concide with Christmas festivities celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ with the Christian community,is seen as significant milestone in fostering unity and cooperation between adherents of the Islamic and Christian faith in Taraba.

In his remarks during the visit, Alhaji Ismail stressed the delegation’s commitment to promoting peace and understanding between the two major faith groups in the state.

In his words;“This visit,” “is a testament to the power of interfaith dialogue in building bridges of understanding and ensuring peaceful coexistence.”

Responding, Pastor Omajali, who harped on the same sentiments, pledged the readiness of the church to collaborate in advancing Governor Kefas’ vision for a united and harmonious Taraba.

He opined that “together, we can create a society that thrives on mutual respect and shared values.”

 Pastor Omajali described the visit as a right step forward in" advancing the principles of good governance and fostering interfaith harmony throughout the state."
