Stanbic IBTC BANK Renovates Primary Health Center in Ogoja

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, STANBIC IBTC Bank has commissioned a remodeled and well furnished furnished, Primary Healthcare facility in Bansan Mbube community of Ogoja Local Government Area.

Speaking during the commissioning of the project, the Bank's representative, Mr. Chukwudiri, emphasized that the bank has a yearly tradition of giving back to the people as a way of appreciating their continued support and business patronage.

Mr. Chukwudiri urged the community to protect the facility from vandalism and misuse, stressing that the health center was intended to enhance the well-being of the people.

In a welcome address,spoke man of the community, Mr. Ralph Nyiam expressed heartfelt gratitude to STANBIC IBTC Bank for remodeling the facility, noting that it would help improve life expectancy, address maternal, post-natal health issues, while enhancing treatment of common ailments.

 While pledging to ensure the facility would be carefully safeguarded,Mr. Nyiam appealed to the Local Government authorities to provide personnel for the health center, including security staff, cleaners, medical laboratory technicians, and healthcare professionals.

In a goodwill message, Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Council, Hon. Christopher Agbeh, commended the bank for its generous contribution to the well-being of people in Bansan Mbube.

 He expressed appreciation to the bank for selecting Ogoja as the location for this year's project.

Hon. Agbeh promised to ensure that proper measures are put in place for the effective use of the facility, urging the community to take ownership of the health center for proper upkeep.

He warned healthcare workers to refrain from misappropriating medical, assuring that his government would address the manpower challenge and other needs presented by the people
